by Roby Helm

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. -- The O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour will open its dirt track season this weekend at Riverside Speedway in Travelers Rest, SC on Friday night and I-20 Speedway in Batesburg, SC on Saturday night. After contesting the first five O'Reilly USCS events on asphalt, the change in surfaces could shake up the National point standings.

Danny "The Hammer" Martin of Sarasota, FL is put together one top five finish and three top ten efforts to ride fifth in the O'Reilly USCS National points after the first five asphalt races, 22 points behind Adams. The 18-year-old driver returns to the dirt surface this weekend after finishing second in the national points last season with five series wins, all on dirt."
